 Wolf In Loveland is a folk rock band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Jan Minnaard, a 21 year old songwriter, gathered some friends to record an EP which quickly became an album and Wolf In Loveland, which was a solo effort, became a band consisting of seven people. They started playing live and soon after that, won a regional talent contest which allowed them to play more. Up to this point the independently released self-titled album has received solely positive reviews and Wolf In Loveland is becoming a name to remember in the Dutch independent music scene. The music has been compared to the best Scottish Indie-folk and draws inspiration from the great songwriters of the 60’s/70’s. With heartfelt lyrics, a clear sound, lush vocal harmonies and a live show that has received praise for its straight-forwardness and honesty, Wolf In Loveland has developed a sound that lots of people can enjoy.

Wolf in Loveland ist eine Folk/Rock Band aus Rotterdam, Niederlande. Jan Minnaard, ein 21 jähriger Liederschreiber, versammelte zunächst ein paar Freunde, um eine Single aufzunehmen, woraus jedoch gleich ein ganzes Album entstand. Wolf in Loveland, bis dahin nur aus einem Künstler bestehend, wuchs zu einer Sieben-Mann Band heran. Sie fingen an, live aufzutreten und gewannen etwas später eine regionale Talent Show, was ihnen weitere Live-Auftritte verschaffte. Nach diesem Punkt bekam das unabhängige, selbst veröffentliche Album einzig und allein nur noch positive Kritik und Wolf in Loveland wurde zu einem Namen, den man sich merkte, in der niederländischen Musikszene. Ihre Musik wurde mit der besten schottischen Indie-Folk Musik verglichen und ist inspiriert von den großen Liederschreiber der 60iger und 70iger Jahre. Mit innigen Texten, einem klaren Klang, satten Harmonien und Live Shows, die nur Lob erhielten, für ihre Ehrlichkeit und aufrechte Eigensinnigkeit, eignete sich die Band einen Klang an, den viele Menschen genießen können.
