BIO:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zen Elephant are emerging as one of the most exiting folk acts in the UK. Not your average folk band, they incorporate several genres such as gypsy jazz and reggae to create a collection of charming songs which are vibrant and upbeat.
This Bristol quartet has established itself on the UK festival circuit with appearances at some of the most prestigious festivals, including Glastonbury, Shambala, Green Man and many more.
Their debut EP ‘These Are The Times’ asserted their individuality and a level of musicianship uncharacteristic of many new folk acts.
The second EP ‘No End In Sight’ is a record that shows that they are a band that have come of age. It is this sense of emotional depth and experience that makes it such a convincing release.
Their much anticipated new single ‘Taking Back Our Home’ will be released in February 2012, with a UK and European tour planned. Keep your eyes peeled for much more to come from Zen Elephant!
Zen Elephant stopped touring in May 2013! Their singer Jeremy Pitcher makes still music!
