Caitlin Mahoney is a New York City-based singer-songwriter, who writes of adventure, passion, chaos and love. Originally hailing from Orlando, Fla., Caitlin has been singing and performing since she was 7 years old and writing songs since she was 17. Her music is a mixture of folk, pop and rock music.
In 2011, she released her first single on iTunes, “A Year Ago Yesterday,” an upbeat, acoustic tune that spins the silver lining of heartbreak. And in April 2013, Caitlin teamed up with producer Jeff Fettig and independently released her debut EP, “West for a While.” Caitlin and her band played the release show to an at-capacity crowd at Rockwood Music Hall in New York’s Lower East Side.
Shortly after moving to New York, Caitlin played at least 5 shows per month, both under her own project and as a valued backup vocalist for other local artists. She has played over 50 live shows in the NYC area in 2012, and her record is being played on college radio stations around the US with frequency. Her cover of “Dancing In The Dark” by Bruce Springsteen appeared on HelloGiggles (over 2 million unique visitors per month) in April 2013. Caitlin’s song “You are a Safe Place” was chosen over 1000 submissions in the 2013 Fatherhood Challenge Contest, sponsored by the “This is Fatherhood” campaign, a movement in support of the President’s Fatherhood and Mentoring Initiative.

Caitlin Mahoney, Sängerin und Vollblut-Musikerin aus New York City, schreibt von Abenteuer, Leidenschaft, Chaos und Liebe. Die ursprünglich aus Orlando, Florida stammende Künstlerin fing bereits im Alter von 17 Jahren an, ihre eigenen Stücke zu schreiben und auf Live-Tauglichkeit zu prüfen. Mahoneys Musik ist eine Mischung aus Folk, verbunden mit Elementen aus Pop und Rock. Im Jahre 2011 veröffentlichte sie ihre erste Single auf „A Year Ago Yesterday“. In der akustischen Upbeat-Nummer beleuchtet sie die guten Seiten des in der Popmusik so oft behandelten Liebeskummers. Im April 2013 schloss sie sich mit Produzent Jeff Fettig zusammen und veröffentlichte ihre erste EP „West for a While“ und feierte das Release-Konzert in New Yorks ausverkaufter Rockwood Music Hall.
Seit ihrem Umzug in den Big Apple spielte sie mindestens fünf Mal pro Monat, sowohl unter eigenem Namen, als auch Backup-Sängerin für diverse andere Projekte. In 2012 kamen so über 50 Shows im Großraum New York zusammen. Mahoneys EP wird regelmäßig von einschlägigen US-Radios gespielt und ihr Coversong von Bruce Springsteens „Dancing In The Dark“ fand große Beachtung im WWW.

A healthy musical upbringing of blues, reggae and soul has influenced Pasco Tom's song-writing and honest soulful vocal delivery.
After being introduced to the likes of Ben Harper, Ed Gerhard and John Butler he picked up the weissenborn style lap slide guitar. He began to play around the London folk scene armed with his weissenborn guitar, wowing audiences with its hauntingly beautiful sound.
He then left the London folk scene and spent the next few years playing in bands around the London club circuit, which saw him perform at festivals around the country including spots at Glastonbury for two years running and a tour of Italy.
His new band The Dark Knights, play an eclectic mix of alternative blues. Armed with his weissenborn lap slide guitar, Pasco Tom takes audiences on a journey from the Mississippi Delta to the far depths of India. After releasing his first solo EP 'Living Forever' in the summer of 2012 he was taken under the wing of the London based Animal Farm label. Pasco Tom is due to release his 2nd EP in Feb 2014, with The Dark Knights.
---------------------------- German version ---------------------------- Pasco Tom’s Songwriting und sein authentischer, gefühlvoller Gesangsstil sind stark geprägt durch sein musikalisches Umfeld aus Blues, Reggae und Soul. Nachdem er Künstler wie Ben Harper, Ed Gerhard oder John Butler für sich entdeckt hatte, begann er sich verstärkt mit sogenannten Hawaii-Gitarren („weissenborn lap slide guitars“) zu beschäftigen. Diese Gitarren werden auf dem Schoß liegend mit Hilfe von Slide-Techniken gespielt und sind in der Tradition US-Amerikanischer Musikkultur nicht wegzudenken. Pasco Tom begann mit einem solchen Instrument die Londoner Folk Szene unsicher zu machen und begeisterte die Zuschauer mit seinem fesselnden, sehr speziellen Sound.
Anschließend verbrachte er einige Jahre außerhalb der Folk Szene und spielte in verschiedenen Bands in und um London. Darunter fallen Auftritte auf diversen Festivals im ganzen Land, unter anderem das bekannte Glastonbury Festival, sowie erste Tournee-Erfahrungen außerhalb des Vereinten Königreichs.
Mittlerweile ist Tom mit als Trio mit The Dark Nights unterwegs, zusammen spielen sie einen vielseitigen Mix aus Alternative Blues.
Mit seiner „weissenborn lap slide guitar“ im Gepäck nimmt Pasco Tom sein Publikum mit auf eine musikalische Weltreise, vom Mississippi Delta der amerikanischen Südstaaten bis hinein ins tiefste Indien. Nach der Veröffentlichung einer ersten Solo-EP „Living Forever“ im Sommer 2012, wird im kommenden Februar wird eine EP in Zusammenarbeit mit The Dark Knights auf dem Londoner Label „Animal Farm“ veröffentlicht und vorab im Rahmen der „SONGS & WHISPERS“-Tour live präsentiert werden.
