Am 23. November ab 20 Uhr präsentiert "SONGS & WHISPERS" Daisy Chapman aus Bristol und den Bremer Axel Kruse mit Begleitung seiner Band im Sendesaal Bremen. Zum ersten Mal werden beide Künstler unter dem Motto "Pure and Acoustic" die einzigartige Akustik des Sendesaals nutzen und ihr Publikum auf eine "unplugged"-Reise mitnehmen.

Daisy Chapman, die sich selbst als „Sinner-Songwriterin“ bezeichnet, gehört Dank der Wucht ihrer Stimme, der Perfektion ihrer kammermusikalischen Arrangements und der Genialität ihrer Songtexte mittlerweile in die erste Singer-Songwriter-Liga. Gepaart mit Klavierspiel und Loop-Station tritt sie mit der Violinistin Sue Lord auf.
Axel Kruse nutzt sein Heimspiel für eine Premiere: „Zum ersten Mal werde ich mit allen Musikern, die mich bei den Aufnahmen zu „Open Doors“ unterstützt haben, auf der Bühne stehen.“, erklärt er zum Konzert im Sendesaal. Das Album wird im Frühjahr 2014 über Songs & Whispers erscheinen.

On November 23rd at 8:00 p.m. „SONGS & WHISPERS“ presents Daisy Chapman from Bristol and Axel Kruse from Bremen, accompanied by his band, in the Sendesaal Bremen. For the first time, both artists will use the unique acoustics of the Sendesaal under the slogan “Pure and Acoustic” and take the audience on an “unplugged” journey. For Axel Kruse, this performance in the “acoustic temple” of Bremen will be a premiere: some of his songs will be completely rearranged for this concert evening.
Daisy Chapman, who calls herself a “singer-songwriter”, tells personal stories. With her powerful voice, the perfection of her chamber music arrangements and her brilliant song texts, she is in the top league of the singer-songwriters. With a piano and a loop-station, she will perform together with the violinist Sue Lord.
Axel Kruse will have his own premiere that evening: For the first time, I will be on stage with all the musicians who supported me with recording ‘Open Doors’” he explains. There will be songs from his new album which will be released by the label Songs & Whispers in spring 2014.
