Miss Mary Mack is a duet created by Ceddy Gonod, the french producer (Coming Soon, Pollyanna, Etienne Daho, the sons of the desert, Howard Hughes, Ben Lupus, Red, Chien Vert and more. he worked with Herman Dune, Will Oldham, Noel Akchote, etc …) with Jean Michel Blecon (drummer for Pollyanna). Their music is a mix between indie folk and free jazz. Someone said it's like seeing Johnny Cash playing with Sonic Youth … Why not ? They've been touring for years in France and Begium as Miss Mary Mack or other bands (they are or were the backing band of Howard Hughes, the Shiels, Zak Laughed and even had a punk country music band called the Stout Brothers). Their concerts are always experiments with a lot of improvisation.They're coming to Germany to propose to the audience their second l.p. "Yesterday, a part of me" in cd and vinyl.

Jemand sagte, es sei als würde man Johnny Cash zusammen mit Sonic Youth sehen… Warum nicht? Sie sind jahrelang als Miss Mary Mack oder einem anderen Namen durch Frankreich und Belgien getourt (sie sind oder waren die Begleitband von Howard Hughes, The Shiels, Zak Laughed und hatten auch eine Punk-Country Band namens The Stout Brothers). Ihre Konzerte sind immer Experimente mit viel Improvisation.

Pollyanna is a European indie-folk band, based in Paris. Their music evokes the damp skies and grey shores of the Northern Sea, but the project, built around Isabelle Casier’s songs, also has roots in the south of France, as she grew up between the French Flanders and Marseille. Pollyanna’s bespoke songwriting and string-heavy sound is reminiscent of Laura Veirs, The Decemberists, PJ Harvey and Anna Ternheim. Pollyanna’s music is rooted in both traditional folk and indie rock, a love of both wood and electricity. The band has performed some 300 shows across France, Germany, Benelux, England and the USA (New York, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Folk Alliance in Memphis…) and has supported an impressive handful of big names including Wilco, Bright Eyes, Julie Doiron, Nouvelle Vague, Alela Diane, Dominique A, Sleater Kinney...
