He sounds like a grooving band, but it’s just him! Mark Mustang is jamming with himself, with his six string acoustic guitar and his voice. He sounds like playing guitar, bass and drums at the same time while performing catchy melodies in sophisticated songs.
Extraordinary abilities and a novel concept lead to an interesting style that makes Mark Mustang hard to compare with any other musician. His songs don’t want to be categorized. He presents the classic blues as well as something that might be classified somewhere between Funk, Blufunk, Art Rock and Improvisation.

If Bob Marley surfed his way across to Mississippi, stopped in for a cup of tea with the devil before flying over to Fiji for choir practice, you would be left with something that resembled Tom Richardson.
Described as the “best opening to a festival yet!” (Port Fairy Folk Festival), Tom uses the latest in loop pedal technology to create a wall of sound, overdubbing four part vocal harmonies, complicated percussion grooves and lead and rhythm guitar parts, all live on stage.
Similarly, there are very few accolades missing from Tom’s trophy cabinet. From performances to the release of two LPs, Tom has been fortunate to collect such awards as Solo Performer of the Year and Best Debut Album at the Victorian Blues Music Awards, as well Best Emerging Artist awards at the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Nannup Music Festival and Apollo Bay Music Festival.

Tom Richardson bringt erstmals seine ansteckende Persönlichkeit und Bühnenpräsenz nach Europa; Funky Blues kombiniert mit ansteckenden Melodien und Rhythmen, die den Fuß mitstampfen lassen und einen zum Tanzen bringen!
Die neuste Loop-Technik nutzend, kreiert Tom eine ganz eigene Klangwelt: gesampelte vierstimmige Gesangsharmonien, komplexe Perkussion-Grooves paart er mit Lead- und Rhythmusgitarren-Parts – und das alles live.
Den Großteil des Jahres 2011 hat er damit verbracht unermüdlich mit seinem Musikschiff durch das Land zu segeln und sein brandneues Album `Guide Your Ship` auf den Markt zu bringen, das er mit seiner Band Tom Richardson Project, aufgenommen hat.
Inzwischen ist er zurück zu seinen Solowurzeln gekehrt und performt .
