A hybrid of jazz, pop and alternative sensibilities, Buzzard Lope are shaped by the pop-tinged songwriting of pianist and singer Roger Illingworth, jazz double bass of Adam Jarvis and distinctive stylings of Brazilian drummer Raphael Saib. The band released their debut album Daybreak in Autumn 2011, through "SONGS & WHISPERS".
