Paul Creane & The Changing Band hail from County Wexford in South East Ireland They are purveyors of finely crafted tunes, beautifully arranged musical landscapes and on top of that put on a stunning live show, sometimes featuring an 8 piece band of talented multi instrumentalists.
Their debut Album Tommy Black & the Twelve Days of Lucy began as a solo project for Paul himself but soon become the love and focus for a new family of musicians. It was this community ethos that saw the formation of 'The Changing Band', the album's completion and release to a great reaction from music fans and the media a like...

PAUL CREANE & THE CHANGING BAND kommen aus dem schönen Lande Wexford, welches im Südosten von Irland liegt. Sie sind die Überbringer von wunderschönen, handgemachten musikalischen Landschaften, die zu alledem auch noch erstaunliche Live-Shows zelebrieren können. Die Musik bewirkt, dass man sich sogar im Winter fühlt, als sei bereits Frühling und man zu zweit auf einer grünen Wiese liegt und träumt – Mal kommt sie nachdenklich, mal anregend daher, aber immer natürlich, ehrlich und handgemacht. Ihr Debüt Album „Tommy Black & The Twelve Days Of Lucy“ erdachte Paul noch ganz alleine, aber dann fand sich eine kleine intime musikalische Familie, die schnell zusammen wuchs und dann auch von Fans und Medien gleichermaßen gut angenommen wurde.

Norman is a band defined by its surroundings: the green, lush, and often soggy landscapes of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. An aesthetic layered with fields and farms, trees and hills, the valley is sandwiched between two mountain ranges and extends North to Portland, Oregon. Norman’s sophomore full-length, Hay, Hay, Make a Wish and Turn Away conjures images of a flatbed pickup rambling down a dusty country road on a warm Summer evening. Find a field, throw down a blanket, and play this record with the doors open and windows down, while you lay on your back watching the stars, wishing on the ones that fall. While it may be stating the obvious, Norman most clearly embodies Harvest-era Neil Young, while drawing a wide range of comparisons including My Morning Jacket, Uncle Tupelo, Ryan Adams, and even fellow Portlanders, Blitzen Trapper. Hay, Hay, Make a Wish and Turn Away will be released by Timber Carnival Records (Portland, Oregon) on May 18th, 2010 and presented live during CIRCUIT 06/2012. Norman will perform as a solo artist during the tour.

NORMAN hört sich so an, wie seine Umgebung aussieht: Die grüne, üppige und sumpfige Landschaft von Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Dieses Tal ist eine äußerst ästhetische Anhäufung von Bauernhöfen, Bäumen und Hügeln und ist umschlossen von zwei Bergketten, die sich bis in den Norden von Portland, Oregon ausstrecken. NORMAN’s zweites Album „Hay, Hay, Make A Wish And Turn Away” beschwört zudem Bilder von einem Pickup Truck, der an einem warmen Sommer Abend eine verstaubte Landstrasse runter gerumpelt kommt. Findet ein Feld, breitet euch auf einer gemütlichen Decke aus und hört dieses Album. Auf dem Rücken liegend in die Sterne guckend und sich bei jeder Sternschnuppe etwas wünschen: Das sind NORMAN.
NORMAN verkörpert NEIL YOUNGs „Harvest“ Zeit, während er ebenso einen weiten Bogen über MY MORNING JACKET, UNCLE TOPELO, RYAN ADAMS und vielleicht auch PORTLANDERS und BLITZEN TRAPPER spannen. „Hay, Hay, Make A Wish And Turn Away“ wurde via Timber Carnival Records am 18.05. 2010 veröffentlicht.
