Mein Start im CIRCUIT 03/2012 hat mir einen wirklich furiosen Abend beschert: am Sonntag in Achim stimmte wirklich (fast?) alles: ein Super-Publikum, das mit allen vier ganz unterschiedlichen Musikern mitging, alle spielten mit vollem Einsatz, eine tolle Atmosphäre machte mir den Start leicht und beschwingt. Am Ende gabs eine Zugabe der "ganzen Band" - so machts wirklich Freude. Vielen Dank an alle in Achim!
Gestern eine für mich ungewöhnliche Erfahrung: den Weg von Bremen nach Ostfriesland kenne ich sonst nur als Weg nach Hause (Emden liegt sozusagen am Weg in meine Heimatstadt Norden), nicht um nach dem Gig wieder in Bremen zu landen. Der Start für SONGS&WHISPERS im Emder Café Grusewsky ist aber glaube ich gut gelungen. Es waren nicht viele da - das muss der "Mundfunk" erst noch richten (die einzige wirklich wirksame Werbemethode?). Die Stimmung war aber gut, am Schluss waren alle zufrieden, und so kann man hoffen, dass sich die Sache dort gut etabliert. Ich lerne jedenfalls stündlich Neues dazu - was kann besser sein?
For all those who can't read German: a really fantastic show in Achim, with an audience which came along with all the four very different artists, so we could give our best, with a band at the end you never heard before because we played together for the first time - a really great experience for me.
Yesterday we had to go to Emden, Café Grusewsky, for the first time SONGS&WHISPERS, for the first time live music on monday. For me it was something special: usually I know the way from Bremen to Emden as my way home (Emden ist on the way to my home in Norden), not on the way to do a gig and to go back to Bremen afterwards. Not very much people but a good sphere and so we can expect more in the audience for the future.
I learn constantly with this - how could it be better?
